Detail Day Seventh Annual Detail Day: Bigger And Better Than Ever!!
Now With The Delaware Valley Triumph Club Saturday. May 30, 2009  Noon to ???
Hi all: To celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of the 2009 driving season, at noon on Saturday 5/30/2008 Rose & I will be hosting our "Seventh Annual Detail Day & BAR-B-Q" party at my home in Worcester, PA.  Use this link on Google Maps if you need directions:  <http://tinyurl.com/c7yno3>
Note that Detail Day is the weekend AFTER Memorial Day, it seems more people could make this date so we're sticking with it. The plan is to have a bunch of cars over and spend the day washing, waxing, eating & just generally hanging out. I have a big driveway and tons of garage space so it should not be a problem to have about 5 or 6 cars being washed at one time. After that you can jockey your car away from the hoses and go on to waxing, vacuuming, etc. I figure we'll start about noon and party till the neighbors complain.
Here's what I will supply:

*Lots of space
*Hoses
*H2O
*Buckets
*Shop vac for interiors
*Some supplies such as car wash soap, wax, towels, etc. but if you are picky about the brands you use I recommend you bring your own
*Shower facilities in case your car is clean but you are dirty, bring your own towels or we can publicly dry you with a micro fiber towel!
*BAR-B-Q grill
*Tools for light maintenance & modifications - ie we can handle a few oil changes, check engine light resets etc but make arrangements with me first

You will bring:

*Some kind of picnic food to share - contact Rose at  rose.mosteller@gmail.com to co-ordinate
*Your Z3/Z4/Triumph/whatever
*A good attitude
*A contribution to our charity for this event - the Make A Wish foundation

This should be a great day to get your BMW or Triumph (or whatever, Corvettes, Mustangs, Jags, Mercedes are all expected to attend) ready for summer. Wash off all that spring mud and start looking good!

You must register to attend.  Email me at thomas.mosteller@gmail.com to register or with any questions.

·    All three covered bridges in Frederick County
·    A drive past Camp David
·    A buffet lunch in a private room at the Cozy Inn in Thurmont, Md.  The Cozy Inn has been a favorite haunt of many Presidents and their staff when staying at Camp David.  During WWII Winston Churchill paid a visit and during the Cold War Nikita Khrushchev lunched there.

July 16th thru 18st, 2010 AZ Phoenix Metro Grand Canyon Weekend The Arizona BMW Z Series Club is doing a 3 day drive to the north rim of the grand canyon, we're staying over two nights

You will need reservations at the Grand Canyon Lodge, the only hotel there. It fills up ahead of time so you will have to get your reservations in early. We have done this tour twice before, it is too beautiful to describe, everyone should see it at least once in their lifetime. The north rim is totally different from the south rim.
