second annual Lake Lure Drive.
Our host hotel is the famous 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa in Lake

Rooms are $135 per night. Saturday is drive day on very
challenging roads & on Blue Ridge Parkway. Sunday is optional
for driving or leisure to go home or stay over for a few days.

Riverside Int'l Auto Museum |
The Riverside International Automotive Museum will host a
private event for BMW Zs on Sunday June 8th at 10:00 am. The
museum will provide coffee and tables and chairs for 40 people,
and even more if necessary. The musuem is closed to the public
on Sundays, so this will be a special event limited to the BMW Z
community, and you must RSVP in the thread below.
There is a $5 donation to view the museum's exhibits. Please
don't forget sign up so I can let the museum know how many Zs to
expect. Also indicate which type of BMW Z you are bringing to
the event, so we can park in designated areas. And let us know
if you will be attending the post-meet lunch at Event's Sports
Grill, and if you want to do a drive after lunch.

mid-Atlantic's premier all German Automotive event, including
vintage, classic and late model Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Opel,
Porsche, and Volkswagen as well as the unique micro, mini and
assembled cars. Search the swap meet area for new and used parts
and accessories. Shop for your next dream car at the car corral.
Check out the new car and club displays. Saturday's events also
include a tire toss competition and a Ladies in Jeans
competition. Music will be provided throughout the event. You
will enjoy a barbecued chicken dinner prepared especially for
you. All activities, entertainment and food are included in the
general admission of $15, so be sure to bring your family and
friends. Swimming is available at the Fleetwood Community Pool,

Z's vs Minis at the BMW Store |
The 2nd Annual MINI Cooper Vs.
BMW Z Road Rally is scheduled for Saturday, September 13,2008.
The BMW Store is sponsoring the annual MINI Cooper vs. BMW Z
Road Rally this September organized by Scenic Road Rallies LLC.
The rally will include 25 MINIs and 25 BMW Z's and will include
a 75 miles course through Ohio's scenic hills and countryside
and a scavenger hunt. Food, drinks, and prizes will be supplied
throughout the day by The BMW Store. The rally will begin and
end at The BMW Store and should take approximately 4-5 hours to
